The shelves were just so strikingly perfect, so I didn't want to paint them. I love wood contrasted with paint, and this was the perfect candidate. I refreshed them with a great polish product and left them to shine as is against the antique white backdrop. For the body I decided on a pale autumns green. The pulls are all original and I painted them with a bronzy metallic cream paint. Lovely distressing highlights its characteristics and features. This is one bow front cabinet that will boast its beauty in any space. In a most humble way, of course.
